In this musical detective story, Stutzmann embarks on a personal quest to find out what lies at the heart of Ravel’s hypnotic masterpiece. Filmed at breathtaking French locations, her journey culminates with the preparation and performance of a dramatically lit performance of Boléro with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, incorporating new discoveries about the work.
